Monday May 18, 2009

Today was a good day for Lisa. Her vitals and her breathing have remained stable all day. Her infectious Disease Dr. tells us her White Blood Cell counts have continued to improved and they are going to back-off on several of the heavy duty Antibiotics. This is great news! It appears she may finally be making some progress with the Sepsis. Now the focus will reamin on getting the chest tube out and continuing the improvement in her breathing while they continue to monitor the sepsis. Keep those prayers coming!

Thank you for your continued support, prayers and encouragement. It is much appreciated and much needed by all of us.

Jim, Josh and Melissa.

  3. Dear Lisa,
We were out of town for a couple of days - missed the earthquake - and are just now catching up with the blog news. I am so thankful and remain in awe at what you can accomplish overnight and bounce back from when you have been handed another roadblock. We continue to keep you in our prayers and thoughts and look forward to the news of continued recovery.
    We love you.

  4. Hi Lisa,
I was in Palm Springs until late lastnight and am just finally getting a chance to read all of my e-mails and check on your blog. It sounds as though you have been busy once again. You are such an inspiration to anyone undergoing any kind of medical treatment. I don't know where you find the strength and tenacity you have shown but keep it up. I can't wait to here that you're back home and feeling great.
    :) Kath
