The procedure went well last night, they were able to relieve the obstruction which turned out to be a large stone. They found infection behind the blockage and were able to drain a significant portion of it. Tests indicate that the liver function is starting to improve. Unfortunately her breathing continued to deteriorate through the night due to fluid build up related to the liver problem. This morning they had to put her back on a ventilator as she was wearing herself out trying to breath. We (and the DR) are hopeful that this will only be for a couple of days as she fights off the remaining infections.

Please continue your prayers for Lisa and the family. We appreciate your love and support.

  1. Hi Lisa,
I am glad the procedure went well and they were able to take care of the problems. I am sure you will soon be breathing again on your own and the extra help they are giving you will be temporary. You have proven that you can overcome whatever has happened so far and I am still confident of your complete recovery. I really appreciate the updates from your family. My love and prayers to all of you.

  2. Dear Lisa,
Thankfully the extra help is there with breathing, locating infections, spotting problems before they get too big. It sounds like you are really in good hands. Outside the medical help, you are surrounded and protected by so many friends and family members that love you and pray for the return of good health every day. I am still looking for the Girard's White All Purpose Dressing.
    Love you, Jackie
