Sunday May 17, 2009

Mom has stabilized from the procedure yesterday afternoon, and though they continue to pull fluids off of her lungs, her vitals are steady and respiratory stats improving to more normalized levels. We had a little more excitement this evening with the recent earthquake, but all is well and starting to settle down around the hospital.

Again, we are blown away by her unwavering strength and faith through this entire process. Please continue to lift her in your prayers.

  1. Hi Lisa,
I am glad to hear that things are stable and you are breathing better. Not even an earthquake can slow you down. Your strength and endurance continue to amaze me. I know you can get back to working on getting stronger and getting to go home. You and your family are an unbeatable combination. Love and hugs,

  4. Dearest Lisa and Family,
I've been away at CTA State Council all weekend, so I'm just catching up on your last 3 days. As an honorary TALB/CTA member, Lisa, you'll be happy to know that everyone at Mass at Council prayed for you yesterday morning. It may not have given you the same kind of jolt as the earthquake, but a boost nevertheless.
Keep fighting to move forward--you are all in constant thoughts and prayers.
    Much love from Monica
