Friday February 13, 2009

Mom made progress again today. Her oxygen level is down to 50%. Her chest x ray showed slight improvement today. For part of the afternoon she was alert and responsive. Although we are excited to see the progress, the Dr. reminded us that this is a journey of very small steps.

Thank you again for all of your support and prayers!

  10. WooooHooooo Way to work It Lisa!
I know this is a small step in the journey, but gives us validation that we all need! Jim, Josh, and Melissa, this is the best Valentine's Day gift your beautiful Valentine could give and I know you must be pleased! Lisa, I am amazed at the strength and perseverence He has given you and your family's faith! You guys are awesome and we continue to hold you up with constant prayer and positive thoughts. All my love to you and PLEASE let us know if we can send some things to make the stay at the hospital (especially the waiting room) more comfortable. We could twist Liz or Jill's arm to deliver anything you might need.
    Love and Prayers,
    Nurse Judy
