Wednesday February 11, 2009

Slight improvement in chest x-ray today. Dr. said it's important for us to have patience right now. He also reminded us that this will be a long process. It was a quite night and relatively uneventful. Mom's vitals have remained stable.

Please continue your prayers and support!

  1. Dearest Lisa and Family
On this, the World Day of Prayer for the Sick, my family and I continue to pray for a quick recovery, and strength and faith for all of you. This afternoon and evening, my students I teach at my Church, and a group of fellow parishioners who are meeting for a home Mass, will also join together to pray for you.
Keep fighting, Lisa--we are with you!!!
    Love from Monica

  2. Dear Lisa, Jim, Josh, and Melly,
Even small improvement is music to my ears! I am very happy to hear that everything is stable and Lisa is continuing in her battle. Non stop prayer is continuing and we are here for all of you. Keep the Faith!
    Nurse Judy

  3. Hi Lis, Jim, Josh, and Melissa,

A small improvement is wonderful! So many people have asked about all of you; they send their love and prayers. Thank you so much for taking time to keep us up to date.

Love you and I think of all of you many, many times during my day.

    Titi, Colin, and Colie

  4. Dear Lisa and Family, Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Just rest and find strength in the people who care deeply for you. You're well loved! Lorrie Davis

  5. Dearest Lisa,
My heart is with you and my prayers continue to be for you complete recovery. I wish I could be there for you. I'll make you something special to eat as soon as you are well.

  6. Lisa,
Hang in there! Good things come to those who wait- and I guess patience is what your doctor is telling your family to have. We can all be patient and wait for your full recovery. Lots of love to you and your family.
    Love, Leslie
P.S. Thank you, Josh for the current and timely updates. It makes it easier to know what to pray for and easier to relax about your mom's care.
