Monday February 16, 2009

Today is a good day. Mom had a restful night and restful morning. This afternoon at 2:00p.m. they took her off the ventilator. She has so far doing well and breathing on her own with only the assistance of an oxygen mask.

Mom has been maintaining 96% oxygen level and resting comfortably. We pray that her breathing will continue to improve to a level that she will no longer require the use of the oxygen mask. All vitals remain stable.

Thanks again for all the prayer and support! We are encouraged by all of your comments that you have been posting, to know that we have the greatest family and friends in the world!

  25. Stephenson Family,
Your updates are priceless to all concerned about Lisa. Carver had their Founders Day Celebration tonight and although Lisa was absent, she was EVER present! We all celebrated her current status and T.Hall asked that she be kept in our prayers (for me, she is never out of my prayers). We introduced Lisa's loyal stand in...Jennifer Rodarte and with welcoming arms we are happy to see she is here to make Lisa's return as flawless as possible. Carver misses Lisa and yet is fortunate to have Jen on board. Lisa be strong, get well, our prayers are with you and your family....we miss you..I miss you!
    Love
