Saturday February 14, 2009 (Valentine's Day)

Mom had another restful night. She continues to make progress on her breathing. They have lowered her oxygenation to 40%. Chest x rays today remain relatively the same. The Dr. has informed us that they plan on trying to wean Mom from the ventilator as early as tomorrow, as long as she continues to progress.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support! We are so grateful for all of your prayers! Our family is very lucky to have the friends and family that we do. We want all of you to know how much it means to us that Mom and our family have the friends an support that we do!

  4. Dear Lisa,
WOW! What a great Valentine's Day gift you have given to all of us who love you so much. Your continued and steady progress toward recovery is worth more than all the flowers and candy in the world. My candles are still burning brightly and all of our prayers are being answered. You are the strongest person I know and it won't be long until we are having our coffee and scones.
    Your forever friend,
    Sandy
