Wednesday February 11, 2009

Slight improvement in chest x-ray today. Dr. said it's important for us to have patience right now. He also reminded us that this will be a long process. It was a quite night and relatively uneventful. Mom's vitals have remained stable.

Please continue your prayers and support!

On this, the World Day of Prayer for the Sick, my family and I continue to pray for a quick recovery, and strength and faith for all of you. This afternoon and evening, my students I teach at my Church, and a group of fellow parishioners who are meeting for a home Mass, will also join together to pray for you.
Keep fighting, Lisa--we are with you!!!
    Love from Monica

  6. Lisa,
Hang in there! Good things come to those who wait- and I guess patience is what your doctor is telling your family to have. We can all be patient and wait for your full recovery. Lots of love to you and your family.
    Love, Leslie
P.S. Thank you, Josh for the current and timely updates. It makes it easier to know what to pray for and easier to relax about your mom's care.
