Sunday/Monday Update

Hey all,

I’m sorry for the delayed update on this but we were having some trouble accessing the log in last night. Mom is doing very well at the new facility and continues to improve each day. She advanced to step 6 out of 19 last night and all of the doctors and nurses that we have spoken to have similar hopes for her progression to continue. Yesterday she was able to sit up on the side of the bed (the first time in 5 weeks!) and was ecstatic to be able to do so.

Thank you all so much for your continued concern, thoughts and prayers. We truly appreciate each and every one of you!

With love and appreciation,
Melissa and The Fam.

I was sooo happy to see this update today. I just about wore out my mouse clicking on this site to see if there was any news the last two days!!! Thanks Melissa for the news. Lisa, you are well on you way to being strong again and we are all so proud of you. Daily prayers are going up for you.

  10. Dear Lisa and Jim, Josh and Melissa,
I can only reiterate all of the other comments. I am so elated by this wonderful news. Your willingness to let all of us share in this journey has been so appreciated. You have not only been support for Lisa, but all of us as well! I would be so happy to be able to do something for you in return. Please ask. In the meantime, please give Lisa a big hug from me and let her know that Carver kids, parents and staff are here awaiting her return.
    Lots of love,
