Mom had another good day. She is now on phase 9 of 19. Mom succesfully underwent 3 steps today. Mom sat up again today and was able to stand very briefly twice. She has steadily been regaining her strength. She continues working with the Physical and Occupatioinal Therapists and continues to make progress daily.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

  1. WOW! Before you know it she will be trying to escape. Keep it up!! You are awesome.
    Love and Prayers,

  2. Wow that's AMAZING! You are doing great. "Slow and steady wins the race" and you seem to be proving that one daily! I'm so glad you are improving steadily. I will keep the prayers and positive thoughts going!

PS there is a picture on you web page of one of my students holding up a card he made for you. He wants you to "fil bitr" :) First grade translation: "Feel better soon!"

  3. Oh my gosh, what a great accomplishment today! I am so happy for you, Lisa. I don't envy the work you are doing, but the intestinal fortitude you are strengthening is something I hope I'd have. Your determination has taught me some things. This journey has been so valuable. I hope you can already see that. I miss you, keep going strong. Thank you to your family. Love and prayers, Leslie

  4. Dearest Lisa and Family,

  8. Way to go Team Stephenson!!!! Just about half way through the process!!!! Jim, Josh, and Melissa better hide the hair, the glasses and the keys or Lisa will be out of there!!! The awesome news is the highlight of my day! (even if it IS the next day, and Lisa has probably flown over several more of her hurdles!!! Thanks for the updates!
