Thursday March 26, 2009

Lisa had another quiet day today. She continues to work on her strength and swallowing with Physical and Speech Therapy. She can't wait until she can get out of the bed and walk and then out of the Hospital, both are still a ways away but she is very focused on getting there and we are very focused on getting her there as well with the continued support from Team Lisa.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

  1. Hi Lisa,
I am hoping and praying that you will soon be walking all over the place and eating some tasty food. I'll be happy and eager to cook anything you want me to. I know you are working as hard as you can and we are all proud of you.
    Love, Sandy

  4. Hi Lisa,
I look forward to reading the blog and finding out how you are doing. I am so happy to hear of all the progress that you are making. You continue to be an inspiration to me and proof that now matter what life throws at us we must knock it out of the way and keep on moving! Thank you for reminding me of that and thanks to your family for keeping us up to date with your status. You are truly missed at Carver but your spirit is always with us!
    Love and Prayers,
    Jean

  5. Dearest Lisa and Family,
Lisa--a quadruple chocolate trifle awaits, so keep working! Also keep riding the wave of how far you've come, and know you WILL reach your goals. I know it is difficult to be patient with your recovery, but remember: patience is a virtue--if it were all that easy, everyone would be doing it!
Thank you again, Clan Stephenson, for keeping us in the loop.
Love, prayers, and positive thoughts continue from Monica

  6. Hi Lisa,
Wishing you even more progress today than yesterday. You have already achieved so much and have taken more than just baby steps toward reaching your goal of getting well and going home. You know that I am taking those steps with you every day and keep you close to my heart at all times. Love you, Jackie

  8. Hi Lisa,
You are amazing. I am a bit late on the uptake, but I spoke with Myrna tonight, and I am up to speed. I read through every blog, and since it's all about me, I thought Lisa must think, "Where are the blogs from my friend Barb?" You have more will and strength than anyone I know, truly. Your family is also amazing. Keep up your incredible strength. I wear my watch and give thanks to have you as my amazing friend.
    Love and strength,
    Barbara Beckley
