WWednesday March 25, 2009

Lisa had a quiet day today, not much to report. No tests today, however she did have Physical Therapy , Speech Therapy (swallowing) and was able to sit in the cardiac chair for an hour. She is sleeping better at night and breathing well.

Keep up the prayers and positive thoughts and we will continue sharing your comments with her. She loves "mail call" every day when we read your cards and comments to her.

Thank you.

  4. Dear Lisa and Jim, Josh and Melissa,
I know it has been a really long time since I have written, but please know you have been in my thought EVERY day. Lisa, you have had the same swallowing tests as Ray after his surgery. He was told that the healing is a slow process. It is getting better, but he is learning to be patient. You are making great progress, Keep up the fight. Love you and MISS you so much. 7. Hi Lisa and Family,
I'm excited that things are still moving forward and just know that these bumps in the road are just a part of your recovery and the muscles getting stronger! You have shown your strength of character many times already and this is just one more way to show your ability to adjust and overcome! You are such an inspiration to me and when I am missing you or feeling sorry for myself, I just think about you and your wonderful family and I can't help but feel uplifted, energized and ready to conquer my problems. 9. Hi Lisa, don't we have both speech and physical therapy at Carver? Maybe you can come get it from us and do some work at the same time. Just kidding!!!! Take your time and get well slowly so you can stay well and feel good. You are greatly missed, but everyone wants you to be 100%. I posted a quote before that illness arrives on horseback but departs on foot, so remember it's going to be awhile until you can do everything you want.
    Thanks for the updates Stephensons.
    Love, Tracy Hall
