Sunday April 26, 2009

Back to work today. Lisa was up twice with PT walking with the help of the walker and the therapist today. She also had speech therapy with more work on her swallowing. We also got to practice for the first time, me (Jim) transferring Lisa from her bed to her chair and from the chair back to the bed. It seemed to go well ( I didn't let her fall once!). Tomorrow will be back to a full schedule.

Thank you for the support, encouragement and prayers.

Jim, Josh & Melissa

  2. Hi Lisa,
I'm glad you are feeling better and back to your regular routine of hard work. It's good to have a strong man like Jim to lean on. Even though the food leaves a lot to be desired, I know you are glad to be able to swallow. We all hope and pray you will be home soon.

  5. Dearest Lisa and Family,
It's the beginning of another full work week for all of us. Make sure those therapists are "earning their keep", and they'll help you get home ASAP. Remember that we're with you every step of the way back to us.
Love, prayers, and all things positive,
    Monica
