Good news today! Blue shield approved the move and Lisa is now officially in Acute Rehab. It will be a lot of hard work on her part, but it is the next step in getting home and she is excited about that. She also had PT twice today with lots of steps and exercises and her first adventure with a walker (and 2 PT's). She also had OT and Speech today as well.

Thank you for all the prayers and encouragement, they continue to motivate and sustain!

  3. Thank you so much for the great news!!! Lisa, I think we can arrange some walker races for you with some of our Carver cuties! That is wonderful that you will soon be propelling yourself. As you know, once you get your strength and balance revved up, the walker will be history (just ask Dejuan!!). I am so excited to see your perseverance and determination move you forward at such an amazing pace! Go Lisa, Go Lisa!! Love and Miss you!
