Saturday April 25, 2009

Lisa was feeling much better today. She got off easy with a light work-out for OT and no PT today. She is settling in to this eating routine, but has not found anything on the hospital menu that she really likes yet! I am sure tomorrow the rest will be over and she will be back to the full workout.

Thank you for all the encouragement and prayers.

Jim, Josh and Melissa.

  1. Lisa, Good luck with finding that "yummy" food item from the hospital cafeteria! Keep up the good work. We miss you.

  2. Hi Lisa, I'm glad your feeing better today... I had lunch with Mary Meronk (Jeannie's sister) and we talked about you and how she was sending you good thoughts (Jeannie). We reminisced about Bancroft and Lakewood and being in that crazy Pam American Parade... we actually thought we were cool in those ugly skirts and banners...But we were cool weren't we?? Keep resting today and tomorrow will be much better.. take care..Love, Lynda

  3. Lisa,
I'm so glad you're feeling better. You've really made a statement about hospital food :) Anyone who has had a hospital stay knows exactly what you're talking about. It proves you really are still of sound mind:) Get your behind out of there and get some good food! Keep going! Love and Prayers, Leslie

  4. Dear Lisa,
So happy to hear that today was a better day. Left a couple of numbers for Jim for you. Yesterday we were at the Bay filming for an application DVD for Amazing Race - that would be Jen and her friend, Lara. She is also running in the Rock'n Roll Marathon in San Diego on May 31st! My last day at Lincoln is May 22nd - mark your calendar!
    Love you. Jackie

  5. Lisa,
Happy to hear that you are feeling better today. Maybe your family can bring in some tasty food for you once in a while (with permission of course). I'm sure you will be ready to give the therapist a workout on Monday.
    Love and prayers,
    Jean
