Sunday April 5, 2009

No rest for Lisa today. She changed rooms this morning so she now has a private room. She also had Physical and Occupational Therapy today. Today she was able to brush her teeth and put on make-up which really made her feel good. She is still munching away on the ice chips but no food yet.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

Jim, Josh and Melissa

  1. The good news just keeps coming! First the feeding tube, then moving herself around in the wheelchair, and moving rooms; now putting make up on!!! Lisa you never stop proving that if you want something bad enough you can make it happen. I know that with your strength and desire to go home and the Love and support of your family and friends you will make it happen.
    Love and prayers,
    Jean

  2. This is a late night check in but what a bright way to end the weekend. Lisa you are making forward strides and we are here cheering you on. I'm at Carver tomorrow. I will be thinking of you as I pass your office. Keep on doing what you are doing. It's going so well. Big hugs, Barb

  3. Dearest Lisa and Family,
"No rest for the wicked, but the righteous don't need any," as the saying goes. No matter which category you feel you're in today, Lisa, keep up the great work!! The light at the end of the tunnel is shining brightly, and we are so grateful! Prayers and positive thoughts continue daily as we make this journey with you.
    Much love from Monica
P.S. Remember--no wheelies allowed! (but if they can't catch you.....).

  5. Lisa,
Things are getting better and better and it won't be long until you are home and well. Keep doing what you are doing, and know that you have your team behind you and ready to lend a hand or bring food whenever you are ready.
    Love, Tracy Hall
