Thursday April 16, 2009

Another day filled with standing, sitting, exercising and eating. Normal routine for the day. She was a little tired today after the big day yesterday and she is a little nervous about going to acute rehab. The hospital appears ready to make the move, but they have not received clearance from Blue Shield. We have made the appropriate calls and now will wait for their response.

Thank you for the constant support and prayers.

Jim, Josh and Melissa.

  1. Dear Lisa,
Sounds like we need to put some effort into our prayers and good thoughts that the insurance companies will make the decisions that are best for you. You will do great with your next move. Nothing will stop you now - you are so on your way to reaching your goal. I am so proud of you, Dear Friend.
    I love you. Jackie

  4. Hi Lisa,
I am hoping and praying that the insurance people give you a quick and favorable response for the next move. You have overcome so much and I am sure your move to acute rehab will go just fine. It sounds great to hear that moving around and eating are the normal routine for you now. The news keeps getting better and better every day. You are a champion.
    Love,

  5. Hi Lisa,
I'm so happy you are able to get back to your Arnold Palmers! Next, we'll be taking turns going to Subway and picking up Arnolds for all. Stay strong with the program. You are going to do great in acute care and that will get you back to us even sooner.
    Thinking of you.
    Love from Donna
